Feeding practices
- Pre trip protein. A good practice is to make sure your beardie is well fed before you leave.
- Pre trip salad. Make sure the greens you put out are fresh and that you put them in as close to when you leave as possible.
- Intra trip food. Giving your beardie a good meal or three of feeders pre-trip and leaving them a good salad is the bulk of your nutrition plan for trips.
- Post trip feeding. While your beardie will do just fine for a few days without food, that doesn’t mean they won’t be hungry when you get back.
